Applying

Choose a clean area of skin, free of hair, lotion, or cream — product residue can affect how well the patch sticks. Peel the patch from its backing and press it firmly into place.

Keep the skin relaxed rather than stretched as you apply. Skin that's pulled taut during application can spring back once released, putting uneven tension on the patch and increasing the chance of it lifting at the edges.

Removing

If the patch feels stubborn to remove, dampen the area with warm water first — this softens the adhesive and helps it lift away more easily.

A little oil (such as coconut or baby oil) worked gently around the edges can also help loosen the adhesive for a smoother, more comfortable removal.
